2-Man Best Ball
Two players comprise a team. Each player plays his own ball throughout. Team score is the best (lowest) individual gross and net score on each hole. 4-Man Best Ball

2-Man Scramble
Two players comprise a team. On every hole each member of the team may hit a tee shot. The team then selects one of the tee shots from which to play. Both members of the team may then hit from that position. This procedure is then repeated until the ball is holed out. Each team member’s tee shot must be used a minimum of (6) six times.
4-Man Scramble
Four players comprise a team. On every hole each member of the team may hit a tee shot. The team then selects one of the tee shots from which to play. All members of the team may then hit from that position. This procedure is then repeated until the ball is holed out. Each team member’s tee shot must be used a minimum of (3) three times.
2-Man Shamble
Two players comprise a team. On every hole each member of the team may hit a tee shot. The team then selects one of the tee shots from which to play. Both members of the team may then hit from that position. Each player then plays their own ball until their ball is holed out. Each team member’s tee shot must be used a minimum of (6) six times.
4-Man Shamble
Four players comprise a team. On every hole each member of the team may hit a tee shot. The team then selects one of the tee shots from which to play. All members of the team may then hit from that position. Each player then plays their own ball until their ball is holed out. Each team member’s tee shot must be used a minimum of (3) three times.
2-Man Combined
Each player plays his own ball throughout. At the end of the round both players add their scores together, both gross and net, to get their 2-man combined score.
4-Man Best Ball Progressive
In this variation of the 4-Man Best Ball the team’s score is the best score in the group (both gross and net) for the first six holes, the TWO best scores for the second six holes, and the THREE best scores for the last six holes.
4-Man Best Ball Carolina Progressive
In this variation of the 4-Man Best Ball the team’s score is the best score in the group (both gross and net) on par 5’s, the TWO best scores on the par 4’s, and the THREE best scores on the par 3’s.
Lone Ranger
The Lone Ranger tournament format is a fun game that is played with foursomes. Every hole one player in the foursome is assigned to be the Lone Ranger. On the first hole, the player in position 1 in the pairings will act as the Lone Ranger. On the 2nd hole the player in position 2, the 3rd hole the player in position 3, and on the 4th, the player in position 4. The cycle then repeats throughout the round. When playing this format, you will count the Lone Ranger’s ball as well as the best ball of the other 3 players. So, two balls will be counted on each hole.
ChaChaCha
This is a unique format played with foursomes. On the first hole you count the 1 best ball in the foursome. On the 2nd hole the best 2, and on the third the best 3. The process then repeats so that we are back to counting the 1 best ball on the 4th hole and the 2 best on the 5th, etc
Canadian SKINS
This is a variant of a Net SKINS tournament that favors a natural (gross) score over a net score. If multiple players tie for the lowest score on a hole, but only one of those players did it with their gross score, then that player wins the skin.
