How the BMGA membership works:
Your membership package is available here in electronic form and also can be e-mailed to you. Please review this website completely to get the latest news and to familiarize yourself with all BMGA policies and upcoming events.
Your membership dues entitle you to participate in BMGA tournaments. Club dues are used to pay for your CSGA handicap, and to subsidize major club social / golf events.
BMGA tournaments are generally single-day, 18 hole events. Some tournaments require both Saturday and Sunday participation. There are different types of tournaments each weekend (e.g. individual gross & net, two- or four-man events, etc.)
BMGA members are entitled to sign up for starting times two weeks in advance (that’s over one week sooner than the general public). You can make your own foursomes for most BMGA events or sign up as a single player to complete a foursome. A handful of tournaments have pairings which are established by the tournament committee.
For each BMGA event, you pay a tournament entry fee of $10.00 on the day of play in addition to your greens fee. All tournament fees collected are returned to winners as Golf Shop credit. Golf Shop credits may be used in either of the Blackledge Pro Shops, or at any Chris Cote’s Golf Shops location. The list of winners is available here on the web site immediately following the tournament.
Eligibility for the Club Championship is based on participation in at least five tournament rounds up to and including the weekend before the Club Championship.
